Words & Language Dive
Seven Words & Language prompts, 25 seconds each, one answer apiece. The rarer your answer, the deeper you sink.
How it works: you see a prompt, type one answer and press Enter. Obvious answers score little; rare but real ones score big.
Example: "Name a fruit" → Apple +10 is what everyone says, Salak +100 is what almost nobody says.

About the Words & Language pack
Words are a different kind of trivia: the answers live in your reading history rather than your school notes. Ask for a language and you will hear Spanish, French and German first. Reach for Xhosa, Quechua or Faroese and you are suddenly in the Abyss, where most of the world's languages actually live.
The Words & Language pack covers authors and poets, characters from Shakespeare and Dickens, Stephen King novels, languages, currencies, colours, fonts, punctuation, fairy tales, detectives, villains and mythical creatures. Spelling is forgiving: apostrophes, accents and a leading The never matter, and small typos on longer titles are tolerated.
A reliable trick for literary prompts is to recall by decade and genre. Think of the book you read in school, the one you read on holiday, and the one a friend pressed into your hands. For languages and currencies, trace the map region by region. For fonts, picture the drop-down menu in a word processor. Because points follow rarity rather than difficulty, a quirky answer that you are sure about will beat three safe ones every time.
This pack currently has 15 prompts and 1,628 accepted answers, all written for this site.
