The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no server-side storage of your game data. The game runs in your browser. Your stats stay on your device.

What is stored on your device

The game uses your browser's localStorage under keys that start with uk: to remember:

• how many runs you have played in each mode,
• your best depth in Unlimited Dive and Endless Descent,
• how many Abyss answers you have found, and
• a list of recently seen prompt identifiers, so the game can avoid repeating them.

None of this is sent to us. The answers you type are checked locally and are never transmitted. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies by default and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referrer. This data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser settings, or with a content blocker.

OpenPanel analytics

We also count page views with OpenPanel, an analytics tool that we host ourselves. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies on your device. Events are sent through this site's own domain to our OpenPanel server. The text of your answers is never collected. You can opt out with a content or tracking blocker.

The game itself works the same with analytics blocked. There is currently no cookie consent banner.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe the providers and your choices.

Third-party links

Links to other sites, including krillion.io, are governed by those sites' own policies.

Children

The site is a general-audience trivia game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes and contact
